In our world of instant and continuous communication, it can be difficult to live your own, true life. Voices and messages beckon:<\/p>\n

See what I\u2019m doing!<\/em><\/p>\n

You need this.<\/em><\/p>\n

This is what success looks like.<\/em><\/p>\n

The norm is to pattern our lives after others. However, if we do, we \u201ckill\u201d the person God created us to be and rob the world of the fruit and example of an authentic life.<\/p>\n

Additionally, we live frustrated and unfulfilled.<\/p>\n

We must find what most intrinsically and deeply motivates us.<\/p>\n

Ask:<\/p>\n

1) What interests me?<\/p>\n

2) What good or wonderful cause would I advance if I could?<\/p>\n

3) What brokenness would I mend if I could?<\/p>\n

Study your answers. What personal mission do they reveal?<\/p>\n

Prioritize and organize your life to act on this mission. This is living your true life.<\/p>\n

It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. <\/em><\/p>\n
