Today\u2014after a halfway-across-the-country move\u2014I pick up my pen (otherwise known as my computer keyboard) and begin again.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always wanted to write. Get good. Write important stuff. Become a writer people want to read. But I\u2019ve done other work most of my adult life\u2014raised kids, brought home the bacon and fried it up. Everything but write.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had to begin again<\/a> and again.<\/p>\n

Now I\u2019m starting to realize that starting over is a skill, an art, an act of courage, a character trait needed to do our work\u2014pursue our individual calling\u2014for any period of time longer than once<\/em>.<\/p>\n

So, today I offer you my gift\u2014words\u2014again.<\/p>\n

Vitality shows in not only the ability to persist but the ability to start over.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
