I\u2019m getting nowhere<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve got too many strikes against me<\/em><\/p>\n

You have to have money to make money<\/em><\/p>\n

There are so many people who do this and better than me. Why try?<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not included, not part of the club<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>You\u2019ve stumbled into \u201cno man\u2019s land\u201d where maintaining the status quo is all you can do\u2014if that. It\u2019s death by isolation and inertia.<\/p>\n

You must get up and out into the action. There is a way to all the excitement, relationships, helping others and accomplishments you\u2019ve ever dreamed of\u2026<\/p>\n

Humility.<\/p>\n

To be humble does not mean to put yourself down or hide your talents. Humility is childlike wonder at:<\/p>\n

1) The inexhaustible amount of amazing things there are to learn.<\/p>\n

2) The endless number of wonderful people willing to share with you what they know. (People like to do this.)<\/p>\n

3) Then choosing to be a student, to be teachable.<\/p>\n

It requires making an adjustment in how you think:<\/p>\n

–From self-rejection to acceptance<\/p>\n

–From judgment to openness<\/p>\n

–From needing to be in charge to enjoying being part of the team<\/p>\n

–From sitting off by yourself to asking,<\/p>\n

May I join in the game?<\/em>\u00a0 And, <\/em><\/p>\n

Will you teach me how to play?<\/em><\/p>\n

###<\/p>\n

Do it now. Get off the bleachers. Pick up the phone. Send the email.<\/p>\n

Get into the action–in life.<\/p>\n

Play.<\/p>\n
