Following up on my previous post, Setting sail for the plastic vortex<\/a>, which focuses on Project Kaisei<\/a> researchers who are studying the Great Pacific Garbage Patch<\/a>, I found that they have posted up some great new videos from their trip. I really hope that they get the funding need to continue this important research which will give us a better understanding of the consequences of making disposable<\/i> goods out of permanent<\/i> materials. One of my favorite quotes in the clip is the statement that you have to love it before you are moved to save it.<\/p>\n
