If you have not yet read the article on America’s Toxic Waters<\/a> published by the New York Times this week, may I suggest you check it out. While I have been reading about concerns with our water supply<\/a> more and more this year, this article really hit it home for me. I was outraged. This should not be happening. We should not have to be worried that our children are getting cancer when taking their nightly bath. <\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/object><\/p>\n

These individuals do not have a choice but to drink (and brush their teeth with) water out of plastic bottles<\/a> because their tap water is toxic. Everyone has a right to clean drinking water. Something needs to be done to ensure that companies who are violating the Clean Water Act <\/a>are punished and correct their behavior. The New York Times has set up a web page on which you can look up water pollution violations<\/a> in your area. You can take action by going to the Food and Water Watch website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
