Bush&#8211;and Post-Dubya&#8211;era we go out of our way to allow deification of Reagan on both sides of the political spectrum. <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/world\/americas\/3788229.stm\">Ronald Reagan<\/a> was in every way oblivious to <a href=\"http:\/\/theidproject.com\/\">interdependence<\/a> and an enemy to the poor. I don&#8217;t want to see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freerepublic.com\/focus\/f-news\/2262286\/posts\">Nancy snubbed<\/a>, but I have no problem with snubbing her hubby&#8217;s legacy morning, noon, and night. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nWhy do we treat him with such dignity? I mean why do we remember him as<br \/>\na great leader (obviously, all humans should be treated with dignity)?<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know too much about Nancy&#8217;s legacy, but her husband does not<br \/>\ndeserve the romanticized accolades he receives, from Obama and others.<br \/>\nI think the right-wing spin machine won another battle, the battle to<br \/>\nwrap an awful Reagan legacy in cotton candy.
