I&#8217;ve always felt that not voting IS voting &#8211; for the way things are now, which is status quo, in which most of the populace. . . doesn&#8217;t vote.<br \/>\nBut if you have the right intention to vote, you need to take the right action, right <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">now<\/span>. Oh those niggling rules. We&#8217;ve got to get it right to get our rights, alas.<br \/>\nIf you plan to vote in the New York Democratic Primary on February 5th, you need to know that new registrants and anyone who needs to update to his\/her voter registration (new address, name change, etc.) must <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">mail<\/span> a completed registration form <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">no later than this Friday, January 11th<\/span>.\u00a0 You must be registered as a Democrat in order to vote in the Primary.\u00a0 You can also use the registration form to change party affiliation, but unfortunately you will not be able to vote in the Primary (the deadline for those changing affiliation has passed).\u00a0 You can download the form here:<br \/>\nhttp:\/\/www.elections.state.ny.us\/NYSBOE\/download\/voting\/voteform.pdf<br \/>\nJersey people have until January 15th.\u00a0 There is a complete list of deadlines for other states here:<br \/>\nhttp:\/\/www.rockthevote.com\/2008-presidential-primary-caucus-calendar.php<br \/>\nvote early (in the primaries) vote often (in state, local, and national elections) vote dharma (right intention, right action. . . you know the rest.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Excited by all this primary action?
