It gets at an interesting dilemma- the\u00a0way the experience of non-self can be used in the service of repression and avoidance. \u00a0The author, Chip Brown writes, &#8220;He sought to protect himself against the trauma of further abandonment by pre-emptively abandoning himself. If he wasn\u2019t there in the first place, he wasn\u2019t in a position to be cast away. The Zen concept of no-self was like a powerful form of immunity.&#8221;<br \/>\nDid anyone else read this article?
