Or wait to get to where we are going.<br \/>\nIn this situation, I was waiting for someone to meet me &#8211; we had agreed to meet at a particular corner near the subway station. Well, when I got out of the subway, I found that the weather had turned for the worse. In addition, it was rush hour in the middle of Manhattan. I was looking for my friend when I got a text saying he was going to be late. There I am &#8211; annoyed, cold, wet, overwhelmed by people &#8211; and I said to myself, &#8220;alright, what has my meditation practice taught me so far &#8211; to be here, now, in the moment, beyond my &#8216;self&#8217;. There is no waiting.
