\n\"\"<\/a><\/span>As a Palestinian teenager, Mosab Hassan Yousef decided to follow Jesus after a British businessman gave him a Bible in the marketplace. <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Yousef is the son of one of the founders of the terrorist group Hamas. <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font><\/span> <\/p>\n

At age 17, he says, he couldn’t understand how he was serving Allah by<\/font><\/span> killing innocent civilians — particularly other Muslims. He asked questions, but got no answers.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font><\/span> <\/p>\n

Until the traveling businessman handed him a Bible, that is. <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font><\/span> <\/p>\n

Secretly the teen began reading it. And it changed his life. <\/font><\/span>He continued to work alongside his father, Sheik Hassan Yousef, in the West Bank city of al- Ghaniya near Ramallah. However, he dared not tell anybody that he had quietly, privately embraced the Christian faith and had begun working for Israeli intelligence.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font><\/span> <\/p>\n

He offered to work from within Hamas as an informant, tipping off the Israelis when bombings or assassinations were being planned. <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/font><\/span> <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Yousef said that while some may want to “scare people about Islam” for personal profit, he is speaking out as “a person who loves my people.” <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

“I cannot wait for them to be liberated,” he said of his fellow Palestinians and Muslims worldwide. “When I see the example of liberty and freedom in this country, I want this to go to my people.” <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

What changed his life?<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

One stranger who cared enough to hand him a Bible.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
