President Barack Obama passed a key test Monday night\u00a0in case\u00a0anybody is worried that he is the Antichrist.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a campaign fundraiser\u00a0at the House of Blues in Los Angeles,\u00a0Obama\u00a0was interrupted by\u00a0a man identified as David Serrano\u00a0who repeatedly\u00a0yelled that “Jesus is God.”\u00a0As\u00a0Serrano was being\u00a0physically removed by Secret Service agents, he\u00a0accused Obama of being the Antichrist.<\/p>\n

That\u00a0figure in Christian “last days” theology\u00a0is believed to be\u00a0a leader who, toward the end of time, will\u00a0be an adversary of\u00a0good while resembling\u00a0Christ. The Antichrist will provide for the needs of the people but\u00a0deny them eternal\u00a0salvation. He is\u00a0named in the New Testament books 1 John and\u00a02 John and described by the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians.<\/p>\n

John’s account advises that\u00a0the Antichrist will deny\u00a0that Jesus is the Christ and will “not confess Jesus.” In I Corinthians 12:3, Paul writes: “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that<\/em> no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.”<\/p>\n

As Serrano was being dragged away, President Obama gave the man his full attention, nodding as he watched\u00a0the scene.\u00a0Obama then attempted to pick up where he had left off.<\/p>\n
