Hey, everyone. <\/span>Thanks for minding the fort while I was gone. My wife, Aimee, and I enjoyed a week-long, no-kids Caribbean cruise with a few of our best friends. Had a great time. It looked a lot like this:<\/p>\n

I’m still catching up after having missed a week of work and wading through my in-box, so it may be a few days before the regular posting continues. But in the meantime, thanks to all of you who participated in last week’s caption contest<\/a> featuring me and a tank from the first Gulf War.<\/p>\n

The winner is Travis Thompson, who came up with the following gem:<\/p>\n

Travis wins because his caption was creative (1), was funny (2), and met the secret third (3) criteria — it contained an obscure pop cultural reference. If you don’t know what he’s talking about, Travis is alluding to the board game RISK<\/a>, which is one of my favorite games of all time. (Also, when it comes to geographical names, Kamchatka is a personal favorite. Hard to defend, RISK-wise, but always fun to say.)<\/p>\n
