Overall though, most of the Mars activity in the upcoming month and a half is going to be fairly constructive.<\/strong> Just imagine that: Getting some actual use out of your drive and aggression for once!<\/p>\n

I’ve listed the exact date for each major Mars event below. Keep in mind that each aspect isn’t just effective on that specific date, but for a good five or six days 4 or afterward. That is, except for the quincunx. Don’t worry: we’ll get to the quincunx…<\/p>\n

\nMars quincunx Uranus<\/strong>
\nOkay, if you know me, you know I’m suspicious of the quincunx. It’s considered a “minor” aspect, but every once in a while it can leap out at you from nowhere, unexpectedly. Imagine going to a kid’s birthday party expecting to be bored but you end up being chased out by a bear. Yeah, that’s Mars quincunx Uranus. Give it a three-day range of potential aggressive weirdness.<\/p>\n

Oct 8<\/strong>
\nSun conjunct Mars<\/strong>
\nGood energy. Start exercising! Get out and do things! Watch your road rage!<\/p>\n

Oct 9<\/strong>
\nMercury conjunct Mars<\/strong>
\n…and while you’re at it, careful you don’t run your mouth to the wrong person in the wrong way for the wrong reason.<\/p>\n

Oct 16<\/strong>
\nMars quincunx Neptune<\/strong>
\nKind of like Mars quincunx Uranus above, except instead of being suddenly attacked by a bear, someone laced the ice cream with LSD and you spend half the day explaining to a six-year-old that no, your face is NOT melting, and all things are one.<\/p>\n

Oct 18<\/strong>
\nMars trine Jupiter<\/strong>
\nExcellent energy, but make sure it is wisely directed. A good time to stand up for your principles.<\/p>\n

Oct 22<\/strong>
\nMars square Pluto<\/strong>
\nOkay, it’s not all sunshine for this Mars trip through Libra. This aspect could make for explosive tempers. Try to find a constructive way to vent your anger — or at least scream into your pillow instead of someone’s face. Yeah, I know… you think they deserve it. Maybe they do, even. Cut it out anyway.<\/p>\n

Oct 30<\/strong>
\nMars enters Scorpio<\/strong>
\nJust in time for Halloween, hooray!<\/p>\n
