Here it is, the fateful week when Mars turns retrograde at 28 degrees Aries and re-traces its steps back to 15 degrees Aries<\/strong>. It then goes forward again in November, finally leaving Aries in January.<\/p>\n

I will return to the usual format for the Mars in Aries report starting next week. This week though, I feel it’s important for everyone here to understand exactly how this will be affecting the most important places in your birth chart.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everyone, have a look at your birth chart…<\/strong> wait, what do you mean you don’t all have a copy of that? Gosh, if only there was someone willing to help…<\/p>\n

There you go. Problem solved!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Have a look at your birth chart and find all the placements in the second half of any given Sign.<\/strong> By “important placements” I mean the Sun, Moon, planets, Ascendant, and Midheaven.<\/p>\n

Here’s a handy list of how those placements are going to be affected, depending on the Sign they are in.<\/strong> Some of the news is good, some of the news is bad, and in some places it’s just weird. And remember — this only applies to the placements in second half of any given Sign in your chart. Placements in the first half? Well, they’re getting various good or bad effects from Uranus in Taurus… but that’s a story for another day.<\/p>\n

Once you’ve done that, next time I do a Mars in Aries blog entry I will tell you what you can expect… based on your own experiences so far. it will be fun, it will be educational, and it may spare your sanity in the next few months!<\/p>\n

ARIES<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Ouch!<\/em><\/strong>
\nThese placements have already been kicked around plenty by Saturn and Pluto in the last couple of years. Mars is going to add additional bite to that.<\/p>\n

TAURUS<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Mostly kind of okay… ish.<\/em><\/strong>
\nSaturn and Pluto are actually doing really constructive things for you, unlike a lot of other placements. again though, that warning about your Uranus passing through this Sign now…<\/p>\n

GEMINI<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Not bad, not bad…<\/em><\/strong>
\nMars in Aries will be giving these bits of your chart a nice, gentle, caffeinated push.<\/p>\n

CANCER<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Oh nooooo!<\/em><\/strong>
\nLike Ares, these guys have been shoved around for the last couple of years by Saturn and Pluto. Now Mars is here to turn the screws a little tighter. Run and hide!<\/p>\n

LEO<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Could be worse, I guess.<\/em><\/strong>
\nGo ahead and relax. Mars is doing generally good things for these parts of your chart.<\/p>\n

VIRGO<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Mostly constructive.<\/em><\/strong>
\nwhile Saturn and Pluto have been blowing things up for other placements, yours in Virgo you should experience some genuinely constructive results.<\/p>\n

LIBRA<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Arrrrgh!<\/em><\/strong>
\nOh you poor thing. Saturn and Pluto square you guys for a couple of years now, and now Mars is opposite it. Good thing there’s more your chart than just these placements, isn’t it?<\/p>\n

SCORPIO<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Generally useful<\/em><\/strong>
\nMars isn’t doing you a whole lot of harm, and Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn have done these placements more good than harm recently. Congratulations!<\/p>\n

SAGITTARIUS<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Giddyup!<\/em><\/strong>
\nMars in Aries is going to be energizing these placements. Ride it while it lasts!<\/p>\n

CAPRICORN<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Keep breathing!<\/em><\/strong>
\nOh dear. Oh my. I always have the greatest of respect for placements in Capricorn. They’re so tough and durable.! And it looks like they’re going to have to be that way for a while yet…<\/p>\n

AQUARIUS<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Okay-ish.<\/em><\/strong>
\nOverall, not much to worry about for these guys. Mars is offering a bit of a boost.<\/p>\n

PISCES<\/strong>
\nAlert level: Hey, it’s all right, man.<\/em><\/strong>
\nIf these placement works of darn sensitive the suffering of others, they would have had more opportunity to recognize the benefits they’re getting from Saturn and Pluto. What are the details of your chart and take advantage of it!<\/p>\n
