THIS WEEK:<\/strong> This week Mars spans the distance from 8 degrees to 12 degrees Aries. It doesn’t form any exact major aspects to any planet other than the Moon this week, but there are two things to be cautious about. First of all, Mars is still in range of the square to Mercury earlier in the week, and this increases the chance that you’ll get angry and open your fool mouth about something to someone that you shouldn’t… or that someone will do that to you.<\/p>\n

Also, this week, Mars is approaching the square to the July 5th Eclipse point at 13 degrees Cancer and Capricorn.<\/strong> Surprises may be ahead in whatever House of your birth chart 13 degrees Capricorn resides .<\/p>\n

WHO WINS\/WHO LOSES?:<\/strong> Any major planets or placements in your birth chart between 4 and 16 degrees of the Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius) will feel a distinct boost. Your Air Sign placements (Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius) will receive a less obvious (but still real) shot of energy \u2014 although for Libra, it may not be that comfortable. Any major birth chart placements in or around those degrees of Cancer or Capricorn? They will be feeling some agitation.<\/p>\n

MOON ASPECTS:<\/strong> On Friday, Moon in Gemini sextile Mars is in effect. This could make for a little emotional restlessness… but as far as Moon-Mars aspects go? I’ll take it, thank you very much. Sunday, however? Moon in Cancer square Mars in Aries is moody. So very, very moody. Also: it’s damned moody. Did I mention the moodiness?<\/p>\n

WHY THIS WEEK IS IMPORTANT:<\/strong> In some ways, this week is important for what it isn’t, rather than what it is. But this is the last week until next year when the portion of Aries that Mars is sweeping through does not get a return visit after the big retrograde happens starting September 9th.
