Astrology, like life in general, is a lot more complicated than \u201cthere are twelve types of people, and here\u2019s what\u2019s going to happen to them today.\u201d<\/p>\n

This \u201choroscope\u201d is a listing of the major planetary aspects, ingresses, and events for April 2018. Each aspect is described below, with the date the aspect is exact and a \u201c+\/-\u201d which indicates the number of days that aspect will be most in effect.<\/strong> Generally, the closer to the exact date, the more pronounced the effect of the transit. And of course, as with everything else in life: your mileage may vary.<\/p>\n

But first, a word about aspects in general. Conjunctions, squares and oppositions can all be difficult.<\/strong> They generate the sort of energy that can get all up in your face and is hard to ignore, but it\u2019s hard to get much done in life without the raw energy they supply. Trines and sextiles<\/strong> are helpful and constructive, but it\u2019s easy to miss out on the opportunities they provide unless you make an effort. And a quincunx? Well, that’s just plain odd.<\/p>\n

Aug 1 Mars square Uranus<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 10 days) Tempers and sex drives can become awkward, uncomfortable, and unexpected. Keep an eye on your blood pressure \u2014 both figuratively and literally.<\/p>\n

Aug 3 Mars sextile Chiron<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 6 days) This could be an excellent time to confront the people and situations which caused you deep emotional harm in your past, or your feelings about those things, in a relatively constructive manner.<\/p>\n

Aug 6 Venus enters Libra<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\n(+\/- 3 days) Egos get inflated and possibly a little bruised.<\/p>\n

Aug 7 Uranus Retrograde<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
