A typical horoscope lays out what you can expect for yourself in the next week or month based on your Sun Sign.<\/strong> That sort of thing is great, sure\u2026 especially if you happen to be the only person on your planet. Astrology, like life in general, is a lot more complicated than \u201cthere are twelve types of people, and here\u2019s what\u2019s going to happen to them today.\u201d<\/p>\n

This \u201choroscope\u201d is a listing of the major planetary aspects, ingresses, and events for November 2017. Each aspect is described below, with the date the aspect is exact and a \u201c+\/-\u201d which indicates the number of days that aspect will be most in effect.<\/strong> Generally, the closer to the exact date, the more pronounced the effect of the transit. And of course, as with everything else in life: your mileage may vary.<\/p>\n

But first, a word about aspects in general. Conjunctions, squares and oppositions can all be difficult.<\/strong> They generate the sort of energy that can get all up in your face and is hard to ignore, but it\u2019s hard to get much done in life without the raw energy they supply. Trines and sextiles<\/strong> are helpful and constructive, but it\u2019s easy to miss out on the opportunities they provide unless you make an effort.<\/p>\n

Nov 2 Saturn square Chiron<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 12 days) When real-world limitations come up against the gremlins in your head, there is a potential for emotional pain and suffering… but that often leads the the breakthrough you didn’t know you needed. Try to be kind to yourself and others.<\/p>\n

Nov 3 Venus sextile Saturn<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 4 days) Sweetness and light are great, but they never seem to last long enough, do they? This time, maybe you can make something more solid come of it.<\/p>\n

Nov 4 Full Moon in Taurus<\/strong>
\nFull Moons may lead to werewolves, but at least this time around you won’t need silver bullets to calm things down… just a comfy couch and a supply of snacks.<\/p>\n

Nov 4 Venus opposite Uranus<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 4 days) Strange new affections develop. “To each his own, the woman, said, as she kissed her cow…”<\/p>\n

Nov 5 Mercury enters Sagittarius<\/strong>
\nLearn a language, learn about a foreign culture… and above all, learn to double-check your words and thoughts before you throw it all out there.<\/p>\n

Nov 7 Venus enters Scorpio<\/strong>
\nAllegedly, Venus in Scorpio isn’t exactly a “Proper Lady.” Personally? Most of the fun I’ve had in life isn’t with “proper ladies.” Nudge nudge, wink wink.<\/p>\n

Nov 11 Saturn trine Uranus<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 15 days) The biggest and longest of this month’s transits is also far and away the most constructive. Have a great idea to build something new for yourself? Need a breathrough with an obstacle? It’s Go Time!<\/p>\n

Nov 13 Venus conjunct Jupiter<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 4 days) Good will, good feelings, and good times… all wrapped in a thck blanket of clinginess, overspending, and too many calories.<\/p>\n

Nov 13 Mercury square Neptune<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 3 days) Your thoughts and words are likely to take on a softer and more spiritual tone… or as my Dad used to put it, “stop spouting nonsense and try not to sound like such a hippie!”<\/p>\n

Nov 16 Venus trine Neptune<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 4 days) Soft and fuzzy feelings of romance, affection, and pleasure-seeking interrupt your mundane daily bean-counting routine.<\/p>\n

Nov 17 Mercury sextile Mars<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 3 days) You’re in a hurry to communicate your ideas… maybe you should put a little thought into it to get maximum effect.<\/p>\n

Nov 18 New Moon in Scorpio<\/strong>
\nAn excellent time to plant the seeds of new ideas that can burst forth into a new Life Direction for you in the next month.<\/p>\n

Nov 19 Mars square Pluto<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 7 days) There is a tremendous urge to roll up your sleeves and spit in the eye of Destiny, and make your own way through the crowd. Just be careful not to bulldoze too many innocents on the way to your goals.<\/p>\n

Nov 21 Sun enters Sagittarius<\/strong>
\nEverybody get out and have fun before Holiday Depression kicks in next month!<\/p>\n

Nov 22 Neptune goes Direct<\/strong>
\nWill this make all your dreams come true? No, probably not… but at least your dreams and aspirations and wishes will be a little more likely to take root and come to something now.<\/p>\n

Nov 25 Mercury trine Uranus<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 3 days) Express yourself in new and unusual ways.<\/p>\n

Nov 28 Mercury conjunct Saturn<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 3 days) Serious thoughts can be a drag — or they can lead to a serious new direction. Apply logic to your most intractable problems.<\/p>\n
