A typical horoscope lays out what you can expect for yourself in the next week or month based on your Sun Sign.<\/strong> That sort of thing is great, sure\u2026 especially if you happen to be the only person on your planet. Astrology, like life in general, is a lot more complicated than \u201cthere are twelve types of people, and here\u2019s what\u2019s going to happen to them today.\u201d<\/p>\n

This \u201choroscope\u201d is a listing of the major planetary aspects, ingresses, and events for July 2017. Each aspect is described below, with the date the aspect is exact and a \u201c+\/-\u201d which indicates the number of days that aspect will be most in effect.<\/strong> Generally, the closer to the exact date, the more pronounced the effect of the transit. And of course, as with everything else in life: your mileage may vary.<\/p>\n

But first, a word about aspects in general. Conjunctions, squares and oppositions can all be difficult.<\/strong> They generate the sort of energy that can get all up in your face and is hard to ignore, but it\u2019s hard to get much done in life without the raw energy they supply. Trines and sextiles<\/strong> are helpful and constructive, but it\u2019s easy to miss out on the opportunities they provide unless you make an effort. And quincunxes<\/strong>? Man, those things are just plain weird.<\/em><\/p>\n

Oct 1 Mars trine Pluto<\/strong>
\nPowerful energy and powerful breakthroughs. Just make sure you use it wisely.<\/p>\n

Oct 3 Venus trine Pluto<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 3 days) Your depths and your appetites deepen\u2026 and possibly become more demanding. Be careful with that, because\u2026<\/p>\n

Oct 5 Venus conjunct Mars<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 4 days) …your sex drive may be too amped up to be a reliable guide to what is or isn’t a wise decision.<\/p>\n

Oct 5 Full Moon in Aries<\/strong>
\nThink werewolves are bad? Try werewolves on fire<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Oct 8 Venus square Saturn<\/strong>

Oct 12 Mercury sextile Saturn<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 3 days) Now is a good time to structure your thoughts and communications and get your act together with your work routine.<\/p>\n

Oct 14 Venus enters Libra<\/strong>
\n(+\/- 4 days) Make your world prettier and more polite!<\/p>\n

Oct 15 Mercury Opposite Uranus<\/strong>
\nFind new and unusual ways to express yourself.<\/p>\n

Oct 16 Sun sextile Saturn<\/strong>
