Okay guys, listen up: We have a lot of work to do.<\/strong> Give me a few minutes of your time, and I\u2019ll make it worth your while. Beer and nachos will be served afterwards.<\/p>\n

You may have noticed by now that, for whatever reason, women are generally more \u201cinto\u201d astrology than guys are. For many men, astrology is kind of a \u201cchick thing.\u201d You know, like romantic comedies or \u201cSex And The City\u201d \u2014 things we men find easy, convenient or even preferable to ignore outright.<\/p>\n

Dave, get away from the nachos. I said \u201cafterwards.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The truth is, though: There really is a Battle of the Sexes going on, and by and large, men are ignoring their opponent\u2019s strategies. No wonder we\u2019re doing so badly at it!<\/p>\n

Generally, it\u2019s been my experience that men and women really are more alike than they are different<\/strong>…. it\u2019s just that women use slightly different mating strategies. Women enjoy looking for subtle little hints and patterns in a man\u2019s behavior as to whether or not he\u2019s worth the time. And I think the reason why astrology is generally more popular with women than men is that astrology provides vital clues as to what a person is really like \u2026 not just right now, but in the long term. And let\u2019s be honest \u2026 women are usually a little more focused on the long term than we are.<\/p>\n

Dave, put the nachos down. I\u2019m not done yet.<\/em><\/p>\n

So, I recommend you guys learn astrology for the following practical, no-nonsense reasons:<\/p>\n

1. It will help you understand what she\u2019s thinking when you tell her you\u2019re a Pisces, or whatever.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. It will help you understand her better, and what to expect when she says she\u2019s a Gemini, or whatever.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. It will give you a basis for conversation when you meet a woman. Having an extra one of those is always good. <\/strong>Your mighty tale of car repairs can only go so far.<\/p>\n

4. It will show that you care enough about people to make the effort to understand how they really work.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trust me guys\u2026 I know what I\u2019m talking about. I wrote a whole book about astrology, love and seduction… and so far, women are responding well to it, and buying it.<\/p>\n

Finally: The most important reason of all why men should take an interest in astrology:<\/p>\n

5. Ever notice how many women hang out in the metaphysics section at book stores?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There you have it.\u00a0Good hunting, gentlemen.<\/p>\n
