Edwardo Suarez of the prestigious Mexico City architectural firm BNKR Arquitectura wants to\u00a0burrow\u00a01,000 feet under the Mexican capital’s most famous square, the historic Z\u00f3calo — Mexico City’s Plaza de la Constituci\u00f3n — build an upside-down skyscraper underground, then glass over the square.<\/p>\n

In the first 10 stories of the inverted pyramid,\u00a0he would\u00a0highlight Mexico’s rich Aztec and Christian heritages with museum, which would include new archeological discoveries unearthed in the excavation process. Then the 55 stories beneath the museum would be retail, office and even living<\/p>\n
