What happened to fair reporting, asks Beliefnet’s “On the Fron Lines of the Culture Wars”:<\/p>\n

How much and to whom did they give? How does their giving compare with their fellow Americans? And what impact did they ultimately have?\u201d<\/p>\n

Oddly missing is any examination of candidates from the other side of the aisle — as in no Democrats will get the same scrutiny, according to the Huffington Post<\/em> announcement.<\/p>\n

Also missing is any consideration that Christians are taught not to brag in public about their charitable giving. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus warns that thumping one’s chest about donating to the poor has serious spiritual consequences.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
