President Donald Trump marked Easter with a message to Christians around the world, pointing to the hope found in Jesus Christ and declaring that “evil and wickedness will not prevail.”<\/p>\n

In a video<\/a> address, Trump centered his message on the Resurrection, calling it “the most glorious miracle in all of time.” He quoted one of the most well-known verses in scripture, John 3:16, saying, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, for whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life,” describing the words as “beautiful.”<\/p>\n

Trump emphasized that Easter serves as a reminder of the hope Christians have because of Christ’s sacrifice and victory over death.<\/p>\n

“Because of what Jesus did on the cross, all of us can live every day with hope in God’s promise, knowing that in the end, evil and wickedness will not prevail,” he said.<\/p>\n
