As more women are leaving the workforce<\/a> due to caregiving responsibilities, a Biden-era CIA report<\/a> is revealing the administration\u2019s concern that support for traditional motherhood and homemaking could be somehow linked to so-called \u201cwhite extremism.\u201d The 2021 report, entitled \u201cWomen Advancing White Racially and Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremist Radicalization and Recruitment,\u201d was brought to light by Trump adviser Stephen Miller\u2019s non-profit, America First Legal (AFL). \u201cNewly released CIA documents reveal the Biden Administration identified \u2018motherhood\u2019 and \u2018homemaking\u2019 as indicators of \u2018white racially and ethnically motivated violent extremism\u2019 (REMVE), the group noted on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

AFL went on to note that, \u201cThe now-retracted CIA intelligence assessment defines \u2018white REMVE-sympathetic\u2019 actors as those who \u2018may not openly advocate violence\u2019 but instead amplify \u2018narratives\u2019 about \u2018perceived threats\u2019 from multiculturalism and globalization.\u201d According to the assessment, such \u201cnarratives\u201d included the promotion of traditional motherhood and homemaking as \u201cwomen\u2019s most important responsibility.\u201d \u201cWe assess that female members have been emerging as key players of the transnational white racially and ethnically motivated violent extremist (REMVE) movement, taking on diverse roles to advance white REMVE goals\u2014including the white REMVE view of traditional motherhood\u2014and successfully participating in newer roles in propaganda and recruitment,\u201d the assessment stated. Supporters of white REMVE goals reportedly pushed for having more white children as a way of turning back the tide of rising multiculturalism.<\/p>\n

The AFL accused such assessments of being politically motivated, noting how an October 4 memo in 2021 had labeled parents expressing concerns at school board meetings as possible domestic terrorists. \u201cThis is what happens when woke ideology replaces actual threat-based intelligence collection and analysis. The Biden administration was obsessed with deconstructing our country,\u201d AFL President Gene Hamilton told The Daily Signal<\/em><\/a>. \u201cMotherhood was suspect. Homemaking was suspect. Everyday Americans were suspect. Under the Biden administration, mainstream American life was turned into a threat profile. We should never forget how deep the rot went.\u201d<\/p>\n

CIA director John Ratcliffe retracted the assessment, along with 18 others, in February, claiming it fell \u201cshort of the high standards of impartiality that CIA must uphold.\u201d \u201cThere is absolutely no room for bias in our work and when we identify instances where analytic rigor has been compromised, we have a responsibility to correct the record,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
