Evangelist and author Anne Graham Lotz wrote a prayer for America\u2019s future and the nation\u2019s youth that quickly went viral, drawing hundreds of comments of appreciation. In the prayer on her social media accounts, Lotz wrote, \u201cWe are in a spiritual and moral free fall.\u201d She called it a \u201cPrayer For Future Generations,\u201d which received over 12,000 likes and 900 comments on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Lotz is the daughter of Billy Graham, the minister and evangelist. She\u2019s also written several books like \u201cThe Daniel Prayer,\u201d \u201cThe Light of His Presence,\u201d \u201cFixing My Eyes on Jesus,\u201d and \u201cJesus in Me.\u201d Lotz wrote in her prayer, \u201cGod of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, You have been our dwelling place throughout the generations. Your faithfulness, Your fame, Your promises, Your covenant, Your authority, and Your glory continue year after year, decade after decade, century after century, millennium after millennium. You have not changed since the beginning. Your Word is forever settled.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cAs I consider my generation and the ones that follow, I am appalled.\u201d Then, Lotz described how the world and America are morally declining. She said that the great darkness of unbelief, ignorance, lies, and evil covers the world, and people live as though God doesn\u2019t exist. She\u2019s afraid to think about what future generations will face unless they rebuild the foundation of genuine faith. Lotz said if that doesn\u2019t happen, the nation will crumble because it\u2019s crumbling now.<\/p>\n
