Ben Carson, a member of President Trump\u2019s cabinet, has been diagnosed with COVID-19 but isn\u2019t letting the virus stop Him from trusting in the power of God!<\/span><\/p>\n

Carson, who also serves as the secretary for Housing and Urban Development, \u201cis in good spirits\u201d and \u201cfeels fortunate to have access to effective therapeutics which aid and markedly speed his recovery,\u201d Coalter Baker, his chief of staff, told the\u00a0<\/span>Associated Press<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Carson is not the only member of Trump\u2019s cabinet who recently tested positive for COVID-19. Trump\u2019s chief of staff, Mark Meadows, also tested positive for the virus. Both men are over 60 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two were attending an indoor White House Election Night party that purportedly had around 250 guests,\u00a0<\/span>Christian Headlines<\/span><\/em>\u00a0reports.<\/span><\/p>\n

Carson\u2019s diagnoses comes as the country\u2019s daily coronavirus cases hit a record of 128,000. This is the fourth day in a row the nation has beaten its record. In addition, hospitalizations are on the rise, too.<\/span><\/p>\n

On a positive note, Pfizer delivered hope to the nation when it announced its current vaccine in the Phase 3 trial, which is in its final phase.<\/span><\/p>\n

This vaccination has proven to be more than 90 percent effective in preventing COVID-19. This percentage is much higher than what investors and health experts expected, Christian Headlines.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cToday is a great day for science and humanity. The first set of results from our Phase 3 COVID-19 vaccine trial provides the initial evidence of our vaccine\u2019s ability to prevent COVID-19,\u201d said Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Anthony Fauci said a vaccine that was 50 percent to 60 percent effective would be acceptable,\u00a0<\/span>CNBC<\/span><\/em>\u00a0reported.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pediatric neurosurgeon told CBN News that God placed him in his position in the White House for a reason.<\/span><\/p>\n

One year into the job, Carson said God revealed why He placed him there by taking him to the Bible.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a verse in the Bible, Proverbs 29:18, that says, \u2018without a vision the people perish,\u2019 and I look around and see a lot of people who just are not thriving,\u201d Carson said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs a pediatric neurosurgeon, I spent a lot of time trying to give kids a second chance \u2013 operating for hours and hours, sometimes all night,\u201d he told\u00a0<\/span>CBN<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n
