Dunn in the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.americanthinker.com\/2012\/02\/whom_the_gods_would_destroy.html\" target=\"_blank\">American Thinker<\/a>. <\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10855\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10855\" style=\"width: 480px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/140\/2012\/02\/obama-e1329171049806.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10855\" title=\"obama\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/140\/2012\/02\/obama-e1329171049806.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"289\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10855\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">President Obama<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><em><\/em>\u201cChris Matthews on MSNBC recalled the other night that we Catholics grew up watching <em>A Man for All Seasons <\/em>in which Thomas More refuses to violate his conscience and is beheaded for it by Henry VIII,\u201d writes liberal columnist Michael Sean Winters in the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/articles\/2012\/02\/10\/why-obama-health-care-rule-on-contraception-angers-catholic-democrats.html\" target=\"_blank\">Daily Beast<\/a>. <\/em>\u201cObama has struck a deep chord in our culture, one he may not have recognized, which is damning in itself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Across America on Sunday, Feb. 12, Catholic church bulletins included statements from the <a href=\"http:\/\/usccb.org\/issues-and-action\/religious-liberty\/conscience-protection\/index.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops<\/a> website alerting the 77.7 million members of America\u2019s largest denomination \u2013 which makes up an estimated 22 percent of voters \u2013 that \u201cNever before has federal law forced citizens to purchase what violates their deeply held beliefs and ethical convictions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But now the Administration is forcing us to act as if pregnancy were a disease to be prevented at all costs.
