The Washington Post certainly has the resources and journalists to do so.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Go look at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.religionnews.com\/\">Religion News Service<\/a> site, for example.  It certainly makes sense to complement On Faith&#8217;s wide range of expert religious commentary and opinion with some actual news.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s not be too hard on On Faith &#8212; it is a serious attempt by an MSM site to do something creative and interesting with religion.  It offers serious discussion of religious topics to readers from a wide variety of perspectives.  And as a blogger, it sure would be nice if they would give some additional targeted RSS feeds to complement the single RSS feed they presently offer.
