Here is what Tricycle has to say about it:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/mindfulnessmatters\/files\/2013\/03\/HFDT307_Kumare.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2875\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/96\/2013\/03\/HFDT307_Kumare-251x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"251\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>There&#8217;s no movie quite like\u00a0<em>Kumar\u00e9<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Disturbed by the fraudulent spiritual teachers cashing in on the yoga and meditation craze, New Jersey-born filmmaker Vikram Gandhi decides that it&#8217;s time to take action.<\/p>\n<p>Growing his hair and beard, donning robes, carrying an Om symbol trident, and speaking in a phony Indian accent, Gandhi reinvents himself as the very thing he loathes: a fake guru named Kumar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Soon, he attracts a number of devoted disciples, and finds that despite himself he is a positive force in their lives. In the end, he must face his followers and reveal his true identity, potentially hurting those who have placed in him their complete trust and faith.<\/p>\n<p>Is Kumar\u00e9 a charlatan or a real teacher?
