Today we&#8217;ll begin to explore how sleep plays a role in stress and what we can do to improve sleep quality and quantity. What I&#8217;d like to impress is how important sleep is.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px;margin-right: 0px;margin-bottom: 10px;margin-left: 0px;padding-top: 0px;padding-right: 0px;padding-bottom: 0px;padding-left: 0px;border-top-width: 0px;border-right-width: 0px;border-bottom-width: 0px;border-left-width: 0px;border-style: initial;border-color: initial;font-size: 13px;vertical-align: baseline;background-color: transparent;line-height: 1.3em\">Sleep is critical to well-being. It&#8217;s one of the &#8220;Big Three&#8221; of what I call &#8220;Exquisite Self-Care&#8221; along with exercise and nutrition. Yet sleep is pervasively undervalued.&nbsp;We are a sleep deprived society according to the National Sleep Foundation (NSF).
