This is a substantial, moving conversation with a woman who is serving the Lord in a unique way.<br \/>\nThen there&#8217;s a fine piece by Matthew Alexander, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thehighcalling.org\/Library\/ViewLibrary.asp?LibraryID=5303\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Secular Work vs. Sacred Work: The Greek Distortion of Work.&#8221;<\/a> Alexander, a financial planner, lays out in practical terms some of the misunderstandings of work that are popular among Christians today.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thehighcalling.org\/Library\/RecentBlogs.asp?CategoryID=1&amp;BlogID=671\" target=\"_blank\">Ramblin&#8217; Dan&#8217;s blog<\/a> links to a <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/3312951\" target=\"_blank\">fantastic video called <em>Lindsay<\/em><\/a>. It focuses on a young woman who lives out her Christian faith as a teacher in New York City.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/3312951\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.markdroberts.com\/images\/Deidox-Lindsay-7.jpg\" height=\"271\" width=\"504\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Lindsay<\/em> was produced by Deidox.\u00a0 I was not familiar with this organization, but I was most impressed by this video, so I <a href=\"http:\/\/deidox.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">checked out their website<\/a>. The Deidox byline reads: &#8220;Short films telling true stories of an active God.&#8221; The <a href=\"http:\/\/deidox.com\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;About&#8221;<\/a> page explains the name: Dei (Latin for God) + dox (short for documentaries) = Deidox. The organization is led by Brent Gudgel and Dave Mahanes, who now reside in California. They hope that, in time, they&#8217;ll be able to support their work by selling the videos for church and other groups. His most recent book is Can We Trust the Gospels? Investigating the Reliability of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John (Crossway, 2007). He is currently working on a commentary on Ephesians that will be published by Zondervan in 2014.
