Indeed, as I reflect upon what I truly want in life, You are my heart&#8217;s desire! Sure, there are other things I want, and many of these are good things: a healthy family, a fulfilling ministry, to make a difference for You in this world. But, more deeply, I desire You . . . Your presence, Your delight, Your peace. Only You can give me these.<br \/>\nGracious God, I would ask You to fulfill my plans. But before that, I&#8217;d ask that my plans be Your plans. May my goals be Your goals. I&#8217;m so aware of my tendency to make plans that seem right, but that aren&#8217;t what You have in mind.
