They should talk about their philosophy of picking judges and about specific decisions with which they disagree (with any luck they will acknowledge they will obey even those decisions). \u00a0You and I both know how significant Supreme Court decisions are for everyone in this country. \u00a0So voters ought to be asking about these if the candidates try to shy away from them. \u00a0Having said all this and with full recognition that Pastor Warren&#8217;s books do sell better than ours, he is not the best person to start this discussion. \u00a0Why not hold a forum at a law school with legal analysts and professors asking the questions? \u00a0I&#8217;m sure Alan Dershowitz and Robert Bork would find time to do it. \u00a0If not, we could fill in ourselves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jay, of course the Presidential candidates ought to be talking about the Supreme Court. A member of the Washington, D.C. and U.S. Supreme Court bar, Lynn earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1978.
