There were also audience specific themes that attracted certain demographics.<\/p>\n<p>The Longest Ride, from a Nicholas Sparks novel, is good for couples. It is about commitment costs, but for love the cost of commitment is worth it. A problem for some is that it may be preachy, but they probably won\u2019t see the movie.<\/p>\n<p>Strange Magic was about love conquers all\u2014perhaps a good message for children, the target audience.<\/p>\n<p>McFarland, USA may attract people who enjoy engaging stories about overcoming the odds.<\/p>\n<p>Home and Far From Men are about showing mercy, with different emphasis. Home is about showing mercy to your enemy\u2014a message intended for children\u2014and Far From Men is about how mercy is at the heart of the divine law, which is really a narrow interest, but with a giant theme.<\/p>\n<p>In brief here are some other audience specific themes, some which may take your fancy.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Blart Mall Cop 2: The underdog good guy saves the day<\/p>\n<p>Woman in Gold: Individuals with persistence can overcome injustice<\/p>\n<p>A Royal Night Out: connecting with unfamiliar people<\/p>\n<p>Far From the Madding Crowd: commitment is stronger than romantic love<\/p>\n<p>Ant-Man: second chances<\/p>\n<p>Manglehorn: Redemption is the natural response to need<\/p>\n<p>Aloha: Change happens unawares when it is especially needed<\/p>\n<p>Everest: You may lose your life in perilous situations, but you may also survive it and gain something else that is good.<\/p>\n<p>The Walk: To demonstrate beauty to the world, there must be conviction to follow through doing that rather than playing it for the crowd.
