Life altering events have the power to put life on hold for a long time and have an effect on the soul.<\/p>\n

A life is bent out of shape, perhaps forever, and even if life did improve, it would not be the same.<\/p>\n

Will was living the high life and enjoying every minute of it, but in a moment of distraction, a vehicle plowed into him.<\/p>\n

The accident caused him spinal damage.<\/p>\n

He won\u2019t get re-involved in his former way of life, even in a limited way. Whatever he can and cannot do anymore seems mute. He exists.<\/p>\n

A caregiver’s charm<\/h4>\n

Will is difficult. He goes through five caregivers and the latest one will just be another one he can turn away.<\/p>\n

Louisa just gets sick of dealing with him, but she needs the money so endures, from her point of view, his shock value.<\/p>\n

After a while, this caregiver gets through to him. Her beauty, charm and chattiness disarm the discouraged man.<\/p>\n

Is a love story on the horizon? Will there be a new beginning? Could be. Even so, everything has changed for Will in a most disheartening way. He\u2019s more than forlorn. He\u2019s dead inside.<\/p>\n

Me Before You<\/em> explores the right to die theme.<\/p>\n

As a general theme, the accident has changed everything.<\/p>\n

Louisa brightens his life for some time, but the accident was one of those defining moments in life.<\/p>\n

Then a choice must be taken on what to do with his lot in life, choice which is faced in pain and difficulty.<\/p>\n
