The value of team work in Star Wars.<\/p>\n

The fifth Star Wars episode, The Empire Strikes Back, and the sixth, Return of the Jedi, resonate on the value of team work.<\/p>\n

In The Empire Strikes Back, this team work happens in a dangerous milieu; dangerous times call for extra vigilance.<\/p>\n

In a dangerous world, there is the value of looking out for each other.<\/h4>\n

As you would.<\/p>\n

Han Solo has his friend Luke Skywalker’s back.<\/p>\n

Luke gets into trouble on the ice world of Hoth, but Han goes on a life saving ‘mission’ for Luke, well worth the effort.<\/p>\n

Chewbacca has Han’s back, as they investigate a foreign invader to the Rebel base in Hoth.<\/p>\n

Han and Chewbacca work together in discovering the invader’s identity. Their courageous act in this cold, snow drenched planet is insightful for their team’s planning.<\/p>\n

On discovering the foreign invader, Han and Chewbacca and others in the Rebels prepare for the worst, and safety.<\/p>\n

There is value in working together<\/h4>\n

Despite rubbing each other the wrong way, Han, Princess Leia, Chewbacca and C3-PO muck in together. They work together as they escape a dreaded Imperial star fleet.<\/p>\n

When Luke is in danger, being there for him is valuable. They work together for the safety of one individual.<\/p>\n

The sixth Star Wars episode, Return of the Jedi, is where life is about action, to result in good defeating evil. In this episode, all the Rebel forces and a diminutive species called Ewoks come together for one crucial strike on evil.<\/p>\n

The Ewoks are at first suspicious of the Rebels. Once the barriers are broken down, we have a Star Wars example of working together inter-culturally, for the defeat of an oppressive regime.<\/p>\n

What may seem simple team work lessons is harder work.<\/p>\n

In Star Wars, the obstacle to successfully executing team work is an extremely well organized regime of oppression and evil lead by masters of dark arts.<\/p>\n

The nightmarish obstacle would make anyone run away, but facing it together comes out better than we may expect against such a malevolent beast.<\/p>\n
