Have you ever jumped up to make a phone call to straighten somebody out? Have you ever snapped at a family member? These are moments when you sell your soul. What you are involved with in the moment is the outrage that someone should take something from you or do something to you. The &#8220;you&#8221; looking at life through the negative state is the negative state itself&#8230; <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>&#8230;it&#8217;s not you at all. There is only the condition and the pressure of the emotional state that is dictating to you what you must do in order to come out a winner. You sell your soul for the victory, the possession, the hoped-for resolution to the fiery state inside of you. That false life drives you, and nothing in it is helping you choose what is in your best interest.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The next time you catch yourself being taken over by a negative state, ask yourself, &#8220;What is this thing compared to my soul?&#8221; First of all, when you ask that question, you actually break the grip of the emotional state, the false life. &nbsp;Secondly, in the moment you ask the question, you are asking God for his life, you are asking Truth for its life. You are saying, &#8220;I want the eternal, not the temporary false life that drives me.&#8221; Remember to ask the question every day; let it become your breath. Ask that question enough, and your soul will always show you what is true. When you choose in favor of what your soul wants, you choose in favor of eternity. &nbsp;This is a real action, a real choice.
