I’ve had clients who excitedly share an accomplishment with me but when I ask if they’re feeling proud and letting others know their mood changes. They’re afraid people will react badly to their show of pride. I hear:

• “Someone may get jealous and not like me.” Don’t you want friends who are happy for you?
• “It may sound like bragging, which turns people off.” Feeling good about what you’ve done or earned isn’t bragging. It’s owning yourself.
• “Don’t people like us more when we’re modest?” That’s a DoorMat/people pleaser mentality of worrying that everyone will like you!

Pride makes you excited, which creates a good vibration for the Law of Attraction to pick up on. Stifling it doesn’t. Owning pride makes you feel very good about your path and ability to reach your goals. It fuels your vibration so the Law of Attraction can work with you. Not feeling pride tells the Universe that what you already manifested didn’t matter to you, so it’s harder to attract more.

Red Aurbach said, “Take pride in what you do. The kind of pride I’m talking about is not the arrogant puffed-up kind; it’s just the whole idea of caring – fiercely caring.” “Fiercely caring” feeds the vibration you need to keep getting desires met. So if you want to manifest more, joyously own what you’ve already done, let your pride rise to the surface. And if someone doesn’t like it, you don’t need that person in your life.

Love yourself enough to know that you deserve to feel pride and that you are more important than the person who is jealous or judging you unfairly. Let the Law of Attraction bring you more to feel proud of!

See all the posts in my Law of Attraction in Action Series HERE.
**************

Join the Self-Love Movement™! Let Me Count the Ways, a She's appeared on hundreds of TV and radio shows, including Oprah, Howard Stern, and Good Morning America and has been quoted in dozens of publications, including the New York Times, Chicago Sun-Times, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Marie Claire, and Men¹s Health. After being a consummate People Pleaser who felt unworthy of getting her own needs met for many years, Daylle found a path of self-love that enabled her to build her self-esteem and reinvent herself into a dual career. She learned to get taken seriously without being overtly assertive when she became one of the first women to start an independent record label (on a dare!) and learned to play ball nicely and successfully in an industry dominated by men. To help independent musicians empower themselves, Daylle writes music business books for Billboard/Random House, including the very popular Start & Run Your Own Record Labe and I Don't Need a Record Deal! Daylle's books have been translated into over 10 languages and are popular around the world. She speaks for colleges, organizations and corporations. Through her company, Project Self-Empowerment, Daylle creates programs and materials to help people empower themselves. One goal is to raise the money to self-publish her book, How Do I Love Me? Let Me Count the Ways and give it away for free in colleges and through organizations, to give thanks for all her blessings. Daylle uses her writing and speaking to help others find the kind of contentment and empowerment that she has.
["GET
https://www.beliefnet.com/columnists/lessonsfromarecoveringdoormat/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/4967/revisions
https://www.beliefnet.com/columnists/lessonsfromarecoveringdoormat/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/4967/revisions/4989
https://www.beliefnet.com/columnists/lessonsfromarecoveringdoormat/wp-json/wp/v2/categories?post=4967
