You CAN use your power to attract all that you need. I do it every day! Read all the posts in my Law of Attraction in Action Series to see how.

Yesterday I answered the question, Why do I have such a hard time asking for help? Today I’ll speak of asking, or not asking, from a spiritual point of view. While being hesitant to ask for what you want is s a normal response, it sends a negative message to the Universe and is unfair to you! Those thoughts are counterproductive to progressing as much as you could or getting what you need. Trying to do everything yourself can burn you out. It reflects a lack of trust that you’ll get help and feelings of not being deserving of support. And it says that you’re choosing to not give people a chance to help you.

When we try to do everything ourselves, the Law of Attraction hears that we don’t want or expect support, and therefore we don’t attract any.

The ANTIDOTE? Let the Universe help you! Use the Law of Attraction to change the dynamics so you can ask for and get the support you need. As I said in my post, Law of Attraction in Action: Holding onto Faith, if you convince yourself you deserve the help and keep your eye on the goal, support comes when you ask. Expecting a positive response helps you get it. Expecting to be turned down gets you turned down.

The bible says, “Ask, and it shall be given you.” Asking tells the Universe you’re making an effort and you’re more likely to get support.

So begin by asking for spiritual support. I’ve worked with people who even have trouble with this. I finally learned that God wants us to ASK for what we need. So when I’m finding it hard to ask people for favors or other stuff, I first turn inward, look up, and say, “it’s hard for me to ask for this but I really want to. Please help me to do it.” Remarkable things have happened when I did that. Once I wanted to get in touch with someone who is very well known and asked for help in doing that. Before I could ask, I heard from the person about something else. Coincidence? I don’t think so! That was part of the help I got when I asked. And I did get what I wanted!

Doing spiritual asking first can change the dynamic between you and the person you want something from and make it easier to ask.

Harness the power of the Law of Attraction by asking for what you need with conviction. The more you ask, the more likely you are to get what you need. I know it’s hard to do but it does get easier as you keep going. The stronger your faith becomes, the easier it is to believe it’s okay to ask. And, the more you love yourself, the more you know you deserve to ask for what you want, whatever it is. On Friday I’ll have tips for asking for what you want in ways that get results. Let Me Count the Ways, a She's appeared on hundreds of TV and radio shows, including Oprah, Howard Stern, and Good Morning America and has been quoted in dozens of publications, including the New York Times, Chicago Sun-Times, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Marie Claire, and Men¹s Health. After being a consummate People Pleaser who felt unworthy of getting her own needs met for many years, Daylle found a path of self-love that enabled her to build her self-esteem and reinvent herself into a dual career. She learned to get taken seriously without being overtly assertive when she became one of the first women to start an independent record label (on a dare!) and learned to play ball nicely and successfully in an industry dominated by men. To help independent musicians empower themselves, Daylle writes music business books for Billboard/Random House, including the very popular Start & Run Your Own Record Labe and I Don't Need a Record Deal! Daylle's books have been translated into over 10 languages and are popular around the world. She speaks for colleges, organizations and corporations. Through her company, Project Self-Empowerment, Daylle creates programs and materials to help people empower themselves. One goal is to raise the money to self-publish her book, How Do I Love Me? Let Me Count the Ways and give it away for free in colleges and through organizations, to give thanks for all her blessings. Daylle uses her writing and speaking to help others find the kind of contentment and empowerment that she has.
["GET
https://www.beliefnet.com/columnists/lessonsfromarecoveringdoormat/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/1508/revisions
https://www.beliefnet.com/columnists/lessonsfromarecoveringdoormat/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/1508/revisions/1583
https://www.beliefnet.com/columnists/lessonsfromarecoveringdoormat/wp-json/wp/v2/categories?post=1508
