I appreciate it because the reviewer says something I have been trying to say:<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before the recent election, David Kuo&#8217;s book captured the headlines along with other startling expos\u00e9s relating to the Republican party and evangelical Christianity&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Yet this poignant, compelling memoir has bigger themes. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Tempting-Faith-Inside-Political-Seduction\/dp\/0743287126\/sr=1-1\/qid=1161339656\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1\/102-5577836-6016907?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books\"><span style=\"font-style: italic\">Tempting Faith: an Inside Story of Political Seduction<\/span><\/a> shows how readily someone with the best intentions and noble purposes can be caught up in the heady world of Washington politics &#8211; to the detriment of family life and the warping of deeply held convictions.
