\nIf ever there was a reason to boycott something, THIS IS

\nTogether we can force them out of circulation. Please send to
\nall on your mail list!!!\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The email is only partially correct. There were a certain number of coins printed but they were a mistake<\/a>.
\nMore interesting is the passion. “If ever there was a reason to boycott something, THIS IS IT!!!!”?
\nI don’t think so.
\nWhether or not our government prints “In God We Trust” on our coins means less than nothing. It is fine if it is there, it is fine if it isn’t there. What matters more is whether our country behaves in a way that honors God and the principles God clearly does care about – justice, mercy, compassion, love.
\nSometimes America does. Other times it doesn’t. What is printed on our currency makes no difference.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
