Sharpton:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It shows that bigotry still exists in some corners,&#8221; said Romney, who spoke to reporters Wednesday after a campaign event. &#8220;I thought it was a most unfortunate comment to make.&#8221;<span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana,Sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:85%;color:black\"><span><span><\/p>\n<p>I am not a Mormon. I have huge theological problems with Mormon theology. Their theology is not compatible with the Christianity of the Nicene Creed. It is, like Buddhism or Judaism, a different faith. Theology aside, however, it needs to be respected in our public debate. That is something Rev. Sharpton seems to have forgotten and needs to acknowledge. He needs to ask forgiveness.
