Since this is an online poll it has to carry certain caveats, most notably it is not a scientifically representative poll.  That said, it is still a fascinating look at what some young evangelicals are thinking these days.<br \/>\nAnd the thing that jumps out?<br \/>\nThey think Jesus would vote for Barack Obama&#8230; and Mike Huckabee:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Who would Jesus vote for?<br \/>\nBarack Obama 28.7%<br \/>\nDennis Kucinich 2.8%<br \/>\nMike Gravel 0.2%<br \/>\nJohn Edwards 4.7%<br \/>\nJoe Biden 1.4%<br \/>\nHillary Clinton 1.8%<br \/>\nMike Huckabee 24.2%<br \/>\nRudy Giuliani 4.3%<br \/>\nFred Thompson 6.0%<br \/>\nRon Paul 15.6%<br \/>\nMitt Romney 3.7%<br \/>\nJohn McCain 6.6% <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of further note:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>1. Who do you think was a better president?<br \/>\nBill Clinton 55.4%<br \/>\nGeorge W. Bush 44.7%<br \/>\n2. Which of these issues do you feel is most important for presidential policy?<br \/>\nAbortion 23.1%<br \/>\nGay rights 3.7%<br \/>\nChurch and state issues 14.3%<br \/>\nBioethics 18.5%<br \/>\nIllegal immigration 40.4%<br \/>\n3. Which of these issues do you feel is least important for presidential policy?<br \/>\nAbortion 11.5%<br \/>\nGay rights 35.7%<br \/>\nChurch and state issues 26.6%<br \/>\nBioethics 15.5%<br \/>\nIllegal immigration 10.7%\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Again, these results are derived from thousands of Relevant&#8217;s online readers &#8211; a group comprised largely of under-25 evangelicals.<br \/>\nRelevant&#8217;s founder and publisher Cameron Strang had this to say about the poll: \u201cThe readers poll confirmed things we\u2019ve been hearing for quite some time. Young Christians simply don\u2019t seem to feel a connection to the traditional religious right. Many differ strongly on domestic policy issues, namely issues that affect the poor, and are dissatisfied with America\u2019s foreign policy and war.\u201d<br \/>\nThe old religious right is dead. The new one is being formed.
