I love Ben. He organizes some very interesting and helpful conferences. And The Elephant Room is definitely one of those ideas. ER is a conference of conversations, debates, and challenges among (between) six pastors&#8211;three cool evangelical pastors and three <del datetime=\"2011-04-08T13:03:25+00:00\">cruel<\/del> cool Calvinist ones.<\/p>\n<p>This clip features Matt Chandler, <a href=\"http:\/\/thevillagechurch.net\/\">pastor of Village Church <\/a>and cancer survivor, pitted against Steven Furtick, pastor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elevationchurch.org\">Elevation Church<\/a> and heterosexual man.<\/p>\n<p>The conversation here is good and interesting, but I&#8217;m most impressed with James Mac, the moderator. It&#8217;s not easy being the guy in between two people with strong personalities, are under God&#8217;s calling, and possess pastoral egos.
