In a new ad airing in Iowa, Rick Perry accuses President Obama of a \u201cwar on religion\u201d while asking why gays can serve in the military but children can\u2019t pray in school. \u201cYou don\u2019t need to sit in a pew every Sunday to know there\u2019s something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can\u2019t openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school,\u201d Perry says in the 30-second advertisement. He continues on to say, \u201cAs president, I\u2019ll end Obama\u2019s war on religion. And I\u2019ll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage.\u201d The ad will be running in rotation with an \u201cenergy jobs\u201d ad that claims, \u201cIt\u2019s high time we kick our foreign oil habit.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
