That’s not a joke or a punchline. It will actually happen on the\u00a0new reality series “Celebrity Wife Swap,” a source close to production confirmed.<\/em><\/p>\n

The actor and the former evangelical pastor \u2014 both of whom have made the rounds in the media, Busey for drugs and getting arrested for abusing his wife; Haggard for a sex scandal \u2014 would seem an odd pairing for the ABC show. But they have spirituality in common:\u00a0Busey is a born-again Christian and minister with Promise Keepers; Haggard is the founder and pastor of St. James, a nondenominational church in Colorado. <\/em>WHOLE STORY HERE<\/a>.

Each episode of ‘Celebrity Wife Swap’ follows two couples as they switch wives for two weeks. Haggard will appear with wife Gayle. It\u2019s unclear whether Busey’s \u201cwife\u201d will be girlfriend Steffanie Sampson, who is the mother of his infant son.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I can’t believe that Gayle agreed to this… can you?<\/p>\n

I just think the concept for the show is gross and demeaning toward women (since its always the wives who get swapped out).<\/p>\n
