Machine Gun Preacher<\/em> is the inspirational true story of Sam Childers, a former drug-dealing criminal who undergoes an astonishing transformation and finds an unexpected calling as the savior of hundreds of kidnapped and orphaned children. Gerard Butler (300<\/em>) delivers a searing performance as Childers, the impassioned founder of the Angels of East Africa rescue organization in Golden Globe-nominated director Marc Forster’s (Monster’s Ball<\/em>, Finding Neverland<\/em>) moving story of violence and redemption. <\/em><\/p>\n

This looks good, far better than the title suggests. Maybe I’ve been asleep, but I’m not familiar with Sam’s story. Or at least, it doesn’t seem familiar to me. <\/p>\n

According to Christian Post, the movie’s poster is sparking “mixed reactions”… <\/a><\/p>\n
