This manipulative\/fear-filled video was sent to me by a youth pastor. He\/she was sent this link by Interlinc<\/a>, a non-profit that supposedly helps “youth ministries” become more successful.<\/p>\n

While the 1993 fear mongering tactics in this video don’t surprise me, I still find them disgusting, unChristlike, and the exact opposite of how people should think about these things.<\/p>\n

Interlinc should retract this video and apologize to their supporters for sending it out in an email…<\/p>\n

It’s insensitive. Hateful. Ignorant. Manipulative. And while it might be “Christian,” it has nothing to do with Jesus.<\/p>\n

And I’m sorry, if you find the “good” in this video, you are a part of the problem and not the solution. You can call it whatever you want, but the jargon in this video HELPS NOBODY and only hurts people who are already feeling much confusion and loneliness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
