Never mind. Anyway… yes, it’s true. According to the governor of Kentucky, plans are set for the Commonwealth to build an Ark! <\/a>The press release went out today…<\/p>\n

Governor Steve Beshear today joined the Ark Encounter LLC to announce the planned construction of a full-scale Noah\u2019s Ark tourist attraction in northern Kentucky. Partnering with the Ark Encounter is Answers in Genesis, which is most widely known for its high-tech and popular Creation Museum in Petersburg, Ky. <\/em><\/p>\n

<\/em>\u201cWe are excited to join with the Ark Encounter group as it seeks to provide this unique, family-friendly tourist attraction to the Commonwealth,\u201d said Gov. Beshear. \u201cBringing new jobs to Kentucky is my top priority, and with the estimated 900 jobs this project will create, I am happy about the economic impact this project will have on the Northern Kentucky region.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Aw… thank you Kentucky.<\/p>\n

America needs an Ark (Ark Encounter<\/a>). Just last May, Tennessee had a really bad flood and an Ark would have come in handy.<\/p>\n

And wow; it’s only going to cost $150 million. Though Noah probably built it for much less, $150 million is a small price to pay for helping our kids believe that the Great Flood actually happened!<\/p>\n

THIS JUST IN!<\/strong> Kentucky has no poor people.<\/p>\n

But that’s not all… the Ark Encounter will also include…<\/p>\n

In addition to the full-size Ark, the complex will include a Walled City much like was found in ancient times, live animal shows, a children\u2019s interactive play area, a replica of the Tower of Babel with exhibits, a 500-seat 5-D special effects theater, an aviary, and a first-century Middle Eastern village.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
