One thing I knew a lot about was modesty, something that us fundies didn&#8217;t limit to just people with boobs or unhairy knees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Men were expected to be modest too. For a long time, we had to wear jeans or sweat pants when we played sports and tank tops were off limits without a t-shirt underneath.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">But for sure, women had it much harder&#8230; I still remember all of the girls at my school lining up in the hallway and then getting down on their knees so one of the teachers could measure how far away from the floor the hem of their skirt stopped.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Below is a picture of what good old fashioned modesty looked like, though the neckline on my Mom&#8217;s blouse might be one or two fingers too low. <em>Such a floosy<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jesusneedsnewpr.net\/2010\/05\/n8650802_43579634_8156.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2070\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jesusneedsnewpr.net\/2010\/05\/n8650802_43579634_8156.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"544\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I found this at Stuff Fundies Like.
