One of my favorite writers is Flannery O&#8217;Connor, and she went to Georgia College and State University, and now they have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2006\/EDUCATION\/03\/20\/ipod.university.ap\/index.html\">lectures on iPods <\/a>&#8212; Flannery rolled in her grave on that one. Ever read her brilliant essay on peacocks?<br \/>\n3. Nice summary of Scott Smith&#8217;s book by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alanhartung.com\/blog\/index.php\/2006\/03\/14\/truth-and-the-new-kind-of-christian-by-r-scott-smith\/\">Alan Hartung<\/a>.<br \/>\n4. Now that I look like David Crowder, and now that I know Dan Kimball, I can link to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dankimball.com\/vintage_faith\/2006\/03\/crowderlogian.html#comments\">Dan&#8217;s time with David<\/a>.<br \/>\n5. Emerging: What difference does it make? Check out <a href=\"http:\/\/thebolgblog.typepad.com\/thebolgblog\/2006\/03\/workplace_evang.html#comments\">Ryan Bolger<\/a>.<br \/>\n6. Be careful little blogs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2006\/SHOWBIZ\/Movies\/03\/22\/people.clooney.huffington.ap\/index.html\">what you blog<\/a>.<br \/>\n7. Stephen Shields has a wonderful post about the <a href=\"http:\/\/faithmaps.blogspot.com\/2006\/03\/declining-cost-of-information-benefit.html\">cost of information<\/a>. He details how he can now get S. Lewis Johnson&#8217;s tapes so easily online &#8212; well, that got me to thinking of my friendship with Lewis Johnson (who was a great golfer). We had many nice chats in his office, as we shared an office at TEDS at one time. As a student at TEDS, I one time tried to persuade him that the author of Hebrews was an Arminian and that another passage in 2 Corinthians taught a Calvinistic view &#8212;  he said I was &#8220;confused&#8221; in his southerndrawl.<br \/>\n8. Bono&#8217;s everywhere, and he&#8217;s taught Steve Taylor, a kiwi, some things about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emergentkiwi.org.nz\/archives\/7_things_i_learnt_from_bono_about_worship_leading.php\">worship<\/a>, and he&#8217;s got some nice things about offering God our musical passions.<br \/>\n9. Here, here Willzhead: on calling the church to live out <a href=\"http:\/\/willzhead.typepad.com\/willzhead\/2006\/03\/the_failing_for.html#comments\">the spirit of the beatitudes<\/a> (I think they are the sorts of people, rather than virtues, but those folks had virtues that Jesus was characterizing as kingdom stuff).<br \/>\n10. I just saw Brad Bergfalk&#8217;s post about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nakedreligion.com\/?p=177#more-177\">praying with some nuns<\/a> &#8212; and if you read it, say a prayer for him.<br \/>\n11.
